Marugame castle - 48
Move to a place a little away from the bridge, I photographed the Castle that was reflected in the previous article.
One corner seen in the lower right of the "天守 = Ten syu" has many cherry blossoms even inside the castle, and during the "花見 = Hana-mi" season, It is going to be lively.
"Children's Day" was near, the right end of the photo, so "鯉のぼり = koi-no-bo-ri" is reflected.
In the grove in the center of the photo, there was a natural tunnel that children put in, and it was my playground.

Marugame castle - 47
"Castle" is photographed from moat corner on the north side of Marugame Castle where "大手門 = Oo-te-mon" is located.The left side of the bridge is the place where "こどもの国 = Ko-domo-no-kuni" existed in the past.
There is the "城内動物園 = Jyou-nai-dou-butsu-en" in the back of this "こどもの国 = Ko-domo-no-kuni". As I was a child, My home was close to the Castle, I came to visit here like every day.
At the moment both the zoo and the amusement park are gone now, but it has become a place for recreation of Marugame citizens.
Not only amusement parks and zoos but also whole Marugame Castle ... especially the climbing of "石垣 = Ishi gaki" was loved for the place to play in elementary school days.
When I was in elementary school, not only this "内堀 = Uchi-bori" but also some "中堀 = Naka-bori" and "外堀 = Soto-bori" remained, the moat was also my playground.
When I recall my play around that time, I think that I did not die. Of course, my children did not let such play.

Marugame castle - 46
A samurai standing in the "搦手門跡 = Karame-te-mon-ato" which is the back gate of the castle by passing through the Palace.
When this castle was built, this was the "大手門 = Oo te mon". After that, due to the retreat of the coastline and the development of the castle town, the "大手門 = Oo te mon" moved to the present position, and it was changed to the "搦手門 = Karame-te-mon" here.
Note) 寛文 = Kan-bun 10 (1670) Move Marugame Castle's "大手門 = Oo te mon" to the present location from the south to the north. Also the construction of the castle Palace.
Marugame castle build to Mt.Kameyama by 慶長=Keicho 2 (1597), 生駒親正 (I-koma Chika-masa), 一正 (Kazu-masa).

Marugame castle - 41
A samurai who is trying to turn back without heading for "御殿門 = Go ten mon".
When you head towards the right from the square inside the "大手門 = Oo te mon", this kind of landscape spreads.
The roofed wall shown in the photo was built on "枡形 = Masu-gata" and "石垣 = Ishi gaki" facing "内堀 = Uchi bori". It is demolished now.
The roof which is visible on the covered wall on the center left is the roof of "御殿門 = Go ten mon".
Buildings that are visible in the front exist room of samurai who guard the palace, and room that hold of "駕籠 = Ka go" which carries the Feudal Lord.
The lower three stage "石垣 = Ishi gaki" of the samurai 's right hand is "野面積石垣 = Noduradumi-ishigaki".

A samurai's appearance looking back at "大手二の門 = Oo-te-ni-no-mon" in "枡形 = Masu-gata".
It is the "石垣 = Ishi gaki" of "枡形 = Masu-gata" in a direction diagonally to the leading "大手一の門 = Oo-te-ichi-no-mon" and "大手二の門 = Oo-te-ni-no-mon".
The construction method of this "石垣 = Ishi gaki" is "切り込みハギ = Kirikomi Hagi" stone wall. The Stonemasons cut the stones so that there was no gap as much as possible and assembled so that the cut surfaces would be aligned.
It is not as elaborate as the stone of the South American Inca, but it is built exquisitely.

Samurai passing through '大手二の門 = Oo-te-ni-no-mon' and taking a rest at '枡形 = Masu-gata' · · · ·.
"枡形 = Masu-gata" of "Marugame castle" is so big that it can not be seen another Japanese castle.
The architectural style of "大手二の門 = Oo-te-ni-no-mon" is a building style called "高麗門 = Kou-rai-mon".
Although the name is "Goryeo Gate", there is no direct relationship with "Koryo of an ancient nation of Korea".

Synopsis;
Dojoji 2002 is a contemporary interpretation of the Dojoji story, featuring the vengeful spirit of a girl who had been rejected by a monk, created in 2002. The Dojoji legend, is one that has been prevalent in the dances and dramas of Japan since the 11th century and has created a dance and drama genre called Dojoji-mono. The story describes the unrequited love of a woman for a monk; being rejected, the woman turns herself from a beautiful girl into a demonic serpent who chases the monk. As the monk takes refuge in the Dojojitemple, the woman destroys both him and the temple bell, (inside which the monk is hiding) by burning them to ashes. The bell serves as a symbol of the woman's desire, longing, passion, anger, and eventual self-destruction.

"天守 = Ten syu" is visible on the roof of "大手二の門 = Oo-te-ni-no-mon".
Jackie is standing on the "石橋 = Ishi-bashi" at Marugame castle "内堀 = Uchi-bori".
Marugamei castle is surrounded by Triple moats, which makes it hard for the enemy to attack.
About 50 years ago when I was a child, "中堀 = Naka-bori" and the "外堀 = Soto-bori" remained partially.

The Japanese love the full moon in the autumn, and during this period the Noh stage is held at castles, temples, parks etc, called "薪能 = Takigi-nou".

Synopsis;
"白龍 = White dragon" who is a fisherman in "三保の浦 = Miho no Ura" came back to "三保の松原 = Miho no Matsubara".
Then beautiful music and a good fragrance come.
When "白龍 = White dragon" looks around, beautiful clothes are hanging over the branches of the pine.
"白龍 = White dragon" tried to bring home the clothes, "天女 = Ten-nyo" appeared.
She asked me to return "羽衣 = Hagoromo".
She can not return to heaven without "羽衣 = Hagoromo".
However, "白龍 = White dragon" will not return her "羽衣 = Hagoromo" to her.
"天女 = Ten-nyo" is too sad, "白龍 = White dragon" thought to return "羽衣 = Hagoromo".
Condition that returns "羽衣 = Hagoromo" is "天の舞 = Ten-no-mai(Heavenly dance)" and "白龍 = White dragon" tells her.
When "天女 = Ten-nyo" began to wear "Hagoromo", "白龍 = White dragon" doubted her.
