Marugame castle - 48
Move to a place a little away from the bridge, I photographed the Castle that was reflected in the previous article.
One corner seen in the lower right of the "天守 = Ten syu" has many cherry blossoms even inside the castle, and during the "花見 = Hana-mi" season, It is going to be lively.
"Children's Day" was near, the right end of the photo, so "鯉のぼり = koi-no-bo-ri" is reflected.
In the grove in the center of the photo, there was a natural tunnel that children put in, and it was my playground.

Marugame castle - 47
"Castle" is photographed from moat corner on the north side of Marugame Castle where "大手門 = Oo-te-mon" is located.The left side of the bridge is the place where "こどもの国 = Ko-domo-no-kuni" existed in the past.
There is the "城内動物園 = Jyou-nai-dou-butsu-en" in the back of this "こどもの国 = Ko-domo-no-kuni". As I was a child, My home was close to the Castle, I came to visit here like every day.
At the moment both the zoo and the amusement park are gone now, but it has become a place for recreation of Marugame citizens.
Not only amusement parks and zoos but also whole Marugame Castle ... especially the climbing of "石垣 = Ishi gaki" was loved for the place to play in elementary school days.
When I was in elementary school, not only this "内堀 = Uchi-bori" but also some "中堀 = Naka-bori" and "外堀 = Soto-bori" remained, the moat was also my playground.
When I recall my play around that time, I think that I did not die. Of course, my children did not let such play.

Marugame castle - 46
A samurai standing in the "搦手門跡 = Karame-te-mon-ato" which is the back gate of the castle by passing through the Palace.
When this castle was built, this was the "大手門 = Oo te mon". After that, due to the retreat of the coastline and the development of the castle town, the "大手門 = Oo te mon" moved to the present position, and it was changed to the "搦手門 = Karame-te-mon" here.
Note) 寛文 = Kan-bun 10 (1670) Move Marugame Castle's "大手門 = Oo te mon" to the present location from the south to the north. Also the construction of the castle Palace.
Marugame castle build to Mt.Kameyama by 慶長=Keicho 2 (1597), 生駒親正 (I-koma Chika-masa), 一正 (Kazu-masa).

A samurai who became energetic as soon as passing the "御殿門 = Go ten mon".It is the back side of "御殿門 = Go ten mon".
I think that the characteristics of "薬医門 = Yaku i mon" are well understood.
As shown in the photograph, the structure behind the gate has only a pillar that supports the roof.
In the left hand of the gate, there are a "番所 = Ban-sho", a "駕籠部屋 = Ka-go-be-ya", "武家長屋 = Bu-ke-naga-ya".
The white wall seen far beyond the door of the gate, the wall with roof is a covered standing on the "石垣 = Ishi gaki".
