Marugame castle - 42

A samurai taking a rest before the "御殿門 = Go ten mon" (type: 薬医門 = Yaku i mon).

On the right side of "御殿門 = Go ten mon", you can be seen above Jackie that "武家長屋 = Bu ke naga ya" which is a windowless building, samurai stuffing rooms that guards the palace, and a room hold of "駕籠 = Ka go" which carries the Feudal Lord.

御殿門 = Go ten mon(Gate of palace)
薬医門 = Yaku i mon(Building type;Only behind stand two pillars for reinforcement the two main pillars, with roofed gate.
         Originally it was made as the main gate of the samurai residence and noble family mansion, but later They started to make this gate without door for the doctor. Since then, this type of gate is called "薬医門 = Yaku i mon".)
駕籠 = Ka go(Palanquin)
藩主 = Han syu(Feudal Lord or Daimio)
武家長屋 = Bu ke naga ya(Tenement house of Samurai)

The "塩飽＝Shi-waku" islands floating off Marugame city have long lived "塩飽＝Shi-waku Navy".
I think that there was a folk performing art called "塩飽＝Shi-waku Navy Sailor Drums", but now the restored drums are playing.

Please enjoy the powerful sound of "Wadaiko = Japanese drum" this time.
