A samurai who is lying down towards "大手一の門 = Oo-te-ichi-no-mon"

"天守 = Ten syu" somewhat in the upper left of the photo, and the slope visible on the left is "見返り坂 = Mikaeri zaka".
The inside of '大手一の門 = Oo-te-ichi-no-mon' is widened like this.
It is a place for soldiers to line up for sorties, but it seems that "枡形 = Masu-gata" was used in other castles.

In Japan, it will be the season when "Chrysanthemum flower" blooms a little more.
Japanese likes Sakura's Flower, we also looking forward to the "Chrysanthemum flower exhibition".
Many citizens watch the beautiful chrysanthemum flowers every year, where Exhibition of Chrysanthemums at inside this "大手一の門 = Oo-te-ichi-no-mon" and "枡形 = Masu-gata" of  the Marugame Castle.
