That is The "井戸 = I do" that I announced in the previous article.
This is "二の丸 = Ni no maru", it will be the last well to get the necessary water at the time of the war. (There is no well in "本丸 = Hon maru".)
The Marugame castle has never been involved in the battle, it is not the last well.
That is a panoramic view of that well. It is said that there was a way out of the castle in this well ....
When I was a child, Children of the same age explored looking for loopholes from the castle.
This well is very dangerous, so I can not enter it.

This "豊稔池堰堤 = Hou nen ike en tei" is located in Japan Shikoku, and Western of Kagawa Prefecture.
