Marugame castle - 19

It is an explanation board of "井戸 = I do" deepest in Japan, which I told you in the last article.
It is very hard to read an explanation board, but the depth of this well is about 65 meters.

Although it may be felt as cruel, in the "羽坂重三郎（はさかじゅうざぶろう）" who built "石垣 = Ishi gaki" of Marugame castle, the "殿様 = Tono sama" says "There is no one who climbs this stunning stone wall!" then  "羽坂重三郎" said "Let's give me one iron bar, see me climbing stone wall." he said. And he easily climbed so that the other Hostility military not know the military secret that other military could climb the stone wall easily,  and the "殿様 = Tono sama" ordered the inspection of this well , There is a legend saying that "殿様 = Tono sama" dropped stone and killed him when he was at the bottom of the well.

It is also said that the Japanese army who lost in World War II cast a weapon such as a machine gun into this well.
